LONDON: The cetrestage at the moment
Well, sorry folks for dashing your hopes and not writing anything here, to say that i have been busy in the last few weeks will be an understatement.
Well corporate life is certainly starting to take its toll on me,
anyway I just decided that today i will make some contribution to my blog no matter what how small it is.
Well nothing much interesting to write about my life at the moment so decided to pick up some current affair and write about it.
London has been in news for quite some time now , ASHES, Wimbledon , 7/7 n our own PM's visit there.
This was what Dr Singh had to say there
Speaking at Oxford after receiving a honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law, Dr Singh said, "Today, with the balance and perspective offered by the passage of time and the benefit of hindsight, it is possible for an Indian prime minister to assert that India's experience with Britain had its beneficial consequences too."
He added: "Our notions of the rule of law, of a constitutional government, of a free press, of a professional civil service, of modern universities and research laboratories have all been fashioned in the crucible where an age-old civilisation met the dominant Empire of the day."
Dr. Singh said India's struggle for independence was more an assertion by Indians of their "natural right to self-governance" than an outright rejection of the "British claim to good governance."
Both India and Britain had "learnt" from each other and had much to teach the world. "This is perhaps the most enduring aspect of the Indo-British encounter," Dr. Singh added
Do you people agree with what ever he had to say

Getting Started
Just witnessed this new trend of people maintaining blogs , describing events of their lives.
I really liked this idea and since it is absolutely free so why think twice before starting my own blog. I am into my early twenties and soon to complete 1 year in my professional life. Lot has hapenned in this 1 year than I guess the entire earlier 21 years of my life, and I presume it will continue the same way so there would be enough to write.
So this is the rise of 1 more blogger in the horizon , another new phase in my life lets see how this one goes.
